About
Living My Life With Hopeful Resilience
I am a middle-aged, newly retired teacher. I am a mother to one teenage son who is starting college. I am the wife of ten years to my best friend. I am a sister, a niece, a daughter, a granddaughter, a cousin, and an aunt in my big, messy family. I am an ex-wife and a co-parent to my son’s father. I am a friend to people scattered all over the world. After all of that, sometimes I still feel like a little girl, a teenager, a young woman, a newlywed, a new mother, and a stressed single mother trying to juggle everything. Over the span of my time on this planet, I have made mistakes and learned from them. I have changed. I have bounced back. I have also learned from others who came before me. I am at the point in my life where I am ready to share what I have learned so far.
